A Bristol pub is giving away free England shirts to pub goers in Bristol during the England v Denmark game today (July 28).

Greene King pub The Drawbridge next to the Hippodrome on St Augustine’s Parade will be opening early to show all the Women’s World Cup games throughout the tournament.

The first fans who purchase a breakfast at the Drawbridge on St Augustine’s Parade during the England vs Denmark game will receive a free shirt worth £80.

There is one free shirt per customer when purchasing a breakfast at the pub and they are available while stocks last. The manager’s decision is final.

Earlier this year Greene King announced its continued commitment to ensuring women’s sport gets the airtime it deserves, pledging to show all the games in the Women’s Super League for the 2023 season across many of its city centre pubs.

Andrew Gallagher, Marketing Director for Greene King Pubs, said: “Our pubs have such an important role to play in major football tournaments; they provide a space for fans to show their support and come together as a community.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re wearing England colours from head to toe, or if you’re just looking to back the Lionesses with your friends while you watch the match – our pubs are inclusive spaces for everyone during the upcoming tournament.”
