Bristol pop-up shop opens selling handmade gifts in run-up to Christmas

The Bristol Pop-Up Shop sells a range of gifts created by local designers and makers   

A pop-up Bristol city centre shop selling a variety of handmade gifts has opened in the run-up to Christmas.          

The Bristol Pop-Up Shop has returned to The Galleries Shopping Centre for its sixth year of festive fun.    

Open from now until Christmas Eve, the independent gift shop sells a ‘delightful’ range of gifts created by around 100 local designers and makers. 

The organisers started organising the shop in April, receiving more than 300 applicants wanting to have their stock included.        

“I think it’s important to give local artists a place to exhibit their work in a central spot in Bristol,” said Corinne Evans, one of nine project leaders for the pop-up.    

“It means we’re here among some big name shops and it’s wonderful to give the little guys a place to sell at the busiest time of the year.”    Here are just some of the items available at The Bristol Pop-Up Shop:
