House prices in Bristol: the 10 neighbourhoods with the fastest rising prices

Most Bristol neighbourhoods have shot up in value

Bristol has had one of the biggest surges in house prices for any city in the UK over the last year with the median property price in one area jumping by more than 30%.

The Office of National Statistics (ONS) has revealed which neighbourhoods have seen the sharpest increase in sale prices across a year-long period from September 2021 - September 2022. Westbury-on-Trym saw the biggest rise in median prices, valued at £725,000 for September 2022 - up £175,000 from the year before (31.8%).

The leafy suburb wasn’t alone though as the majority of neighbourhoods in Bristol increased in value during the 12 months - once again showing how volatile the city’s housing market currently is. As the figures cover small areas, average house prices can fluctuate due to low sales numbers and can be heavily influenced by factors such as a new development in the area.

Here are the 10 Bristol neighbourhoods with the fastest rising property prices, according to the ONS.
