A 40-year-old man in Bristol has been charged with attempted murder following a 'serious assault' involving multiple victims.

Nathaniel Downer, of Ewell Road in Whitchurch, will appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Thursday, November 23) to face two counts of attempted murder and one of wounding with intent.

This comes after an incident in Ewell Road yesterday (November 21) in which two adults and a child sustained serious wounds. All three victims remain in hospital in stable condition.

Downer, who was arrested at the scene, has been remanded into custody ahead of his court appearance tomorrow.
