Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available during the morning, and The Friends of Sea Mills Library will be serving birthday cake and non-alcoholic fizz, tea and coffee from noon until 2pm.

During the day, there will be a knit and natter display and a library exhibition with recorded memories of the library.

There will also be a photo album of Sea Mills in the past with opportunities for visitors to record their memories of the library with volunteers from The Friends of Sea Mills Library.

The children's Lego Club will be held at 10.30am, a poetry workshop for all ages, "Creative Memory Mapping" with Bristol City Poet Kat Lyons, at 12.30pm and the Reading Aloud for Adults Workshop with Jean at 1.45pm. Music will also be performed by Colin Smith at 11.30am.

Ahead of the free event, they have set up a "decorate a cake" activity where visitors can paint and decorate cake illustrations to be displayed on the library walls for the 90th birthday. For a poster and materials, ask at the library desk.
