Popular Bristol leisure centre set to reopen under new management after shock closure - here’s when
Filton Town Council is working with Parkwood Leisure Centre and their sub-contractor Creative Active Future to take over the management of Elm Park Leisure Centre.


The facility, formerly known as Filton Leisure Centre, closed on April 3 when owner Active Nation ceased operating, citing "ongoing financial challenges and other unforeseen circumstances".

Hide AdIt is set to reopen its doors to the public on Tuesday, May 27.
As part of a phased reopening, the cafe and reception will be open from midday on Tuesday, serving users of Elm Park during school half-term, with the gym welcoming members of the public from 7am on Monday, June 2, followed by the swimming pool, which will reopen on Monday, June 9.
Councillor Tom Mewies, chair of Filton Town Council, said: "This is a significant milestone for Filton.
