Another batch of food hygiene ratings for restaurants and takeaways have been handed out across Bristol this week to more than 50 establishments - including some of the city’s favourite food spots.

The Food Standards Agency published the results after 57 diners which underwent inspection during March and April. Bristol City Council carries out the inspections and then sends the scores to the Food Standards Agency to publish. The ratings cover the handling of food, how the food is stored, how it is prepared, the cleanliness of the facilities and how food safety is managed. The score does not necessarily reflect the quality of the food served by the diners.
