Bristol Flyer bus service to run more frequently as demand surges

Bristol Airport has confirmed the decision after a surge in demand

The A1 Bristol Flyer bus service will run every 12 mins with an ‘enhanced service’, Bristol Airport has confirmed.

The route travels through Bedminster, serving Bristol Temple Meads and the Bristol Bus and Coach Station.

The A3 Weston Flyer service will also extend its operating hours after both routes experienced a rise in demand.

Liz Macnaughton, Commercial Manager forGround Transportation at Bristol Airport, said: “We are delighted to see the improvements to the timetables for both public transport services to and from Bristol Airport.

“These changes reflect the increase in demand for the Airport Flyer services and further demonstrate our commitment to providing alternatives to the car when travelling to and from Bristol Airport.”

The A1 Flyer runs from Bristol Bus and Coach station from 2.15am - 1.15am, Temple Meads from 4.15am - 11.39pm, and 2.40am - 1.40am from Bristol Airport.
