Bristol crowned as a top destination for stag weekends and hen parties by travel experts

A new study has found that Bristol is the top destination for stag and hen do celebrations.

With wedding season around the corner, travel company Coach Hire Comparison has gathered data for 18 top UK cities to determine the best destinations for stag and hen do weekends.

The study, which used sources such as TripAdvisor and Booking.com, looked at the affordability of accommodation, the total number of bars, the average price of a pint and prosecco, and the total number of tourist attractions.

The research comes after finding an average monthly search volume of 880 for the term “best UK stag do locations” and 390 average monthly searches for the term “best UK hen do locations”.

Bristol ranked third in the "Best Cities For Activities" category with 167 main attractions. London was first followed by Edinburgh, with 1,827 and 475 main attractions, respectively.

The overall winner of the study was Edinburgh (third best city for nightlife and second best city for activities), followed by Aberdeen (best city for accommodation and drinks) and London (best city for nightlife and activities).
