On a post in the Facebook page for the search, Katie Bailey, organiser of the search, explains that Jack was last seen walking towards Hotwells over the Plimsole Bridge to head back towards a house party at Hotwells Road.

He was wearing a green/khaki Barbour jacket, a cream knit lambs wool jumper, brown leather Ralph Lauren trainers and a chunky Hugo Boss silver watch. He was also carrying an Apple Air Tag in a brown leather case, a Peugeot 108 key fob, his driving license, his Monzo bank card and black card holder and his house key.

Those who are able to take part in the search on Wednesday will be meeting up outside the “Cycling my life” building (the what3words is Rivers.necks.motel) where routes and health and safety procedures will be discussed before the search begins.

Participants are encouraged to bring a bottle of water, appropriate footwear and walking sticks or anything similar that can be used to move bushes to the side.

If Wednesday’s search is unsuccessful, a second one will be taking place over the weekend.
