Here's what the empty Bristol city centre Co-op store could become as plans revealed

A popular Japanese restaurant in Bristol could move into the empty unit next door.

Izakaya, on College Green, is planning to move into the vacant shop where the Co-op used to be until it shut down in 2023.

The unit is larger than their current restaurant.

The move is subject to a planning application the restaurant has submitted to the city council being successful.
