Bristol cinema to screen Doctor Who series finale

Exciting news for fans of the sci-fi series

The Doctor Who series 14 finale is set to be shown in Bristol as part of a nationwide screening at Showcase venues.

The Legend of Ruby Sunday & Empire of Death will be shown at Showcase Avonmeads on June 21, from 11pm.

A Showcase Cinemas spokesperson said: “The two-part season finale, featuring Ncuti Gatwa as The Doctor, will begin screening at 11pm, with showrunner Russell T Davies stating the finale is set to be one of the scariest and most shocking episodes yet.

“With decades of planning behind it, this is a culmination of storytelling unlike anything seen before in Doctor Who history.”
