Bristol cinema to host PJ party for Christmas film classic - and they're giving away free hot chocolate

A Bristol cinema is to host a pyjama party for filmgoers watching a Christmas classic this weekend.

The Showcase Cinema at Avonmeads will celebrate the screening of holiday classic The Polar Express by hosting the PJ party on Saturday (December 16).

Set on Christmas Eve, the 2004 animated favourite stars Tom Hanks in a multitude of roles and tells the story of a young boy who boards a mysterious train filled with children on a journey to visit Santa Claus preparing for the big day.

Guests watching the classic movie at Showcase Cinema can snuggle up in their PJs and all customers will also receive a free hot chocolate on arrival.

The response has been phenomenal with several screenings already selling out, so we have added extra shows to meet the demand for this exclusive event.”
