Bristol cinema installs luxury seating and slashes ticket prices

A Bristol cinema has installed luxury recliner seating and slashed the prices of its film tickets.       

Hundreds of luxury seats have been installed in Showcase Avonmeads' seven de Lux screens, making it the only cinema in the city to offer cinemagoers luxury recliner seating. 

The cinema at Avonmeads Retail Park has also slashed the price of tickets for its standard screens to £6.99. A de Lux screening costs £11.99.           

The installation of the seats comes following the closure of Showcase’s luxury cinema in the city, the Cinema de Lux in Cabot Circus, last week.
