The owners of Little French are opening in Clifton

Bristol chef Freddy Bird and his wife Ness are to open their third restaurant in the city next month. 

The owners of the acclaimed Little French restaurant and Little Shop and Pantry in Westbury Park have taken the Clifton site of Rosemarino, which closed earlier this year.

The new restaurant is called 1 York Place and will be a 46-cover restaurant showcasing European produce and wine. The couple hope to open the restaurant before Christmas.

Posting the news on social media, they said: “It really is a treat to be doing this again. We have literally been chomping at the bit to share that we are opening another restaurant here in Bristol.”
