Hide AdA Salvation Army spokesperson said rising costs are the reason for the closure of the store, which opened in 2014 and previously had a bookshop and coffee lounge.
He said: “We have made the difficult decision to close the shop due to rising costs and will redirect our resources to our work elsewhere in the city, which includes helping people who are vulnerable and isolated.
“Our other charity shops at Cheltenham Road and Lower Redland Road in Bristol continue to operate as normal and are unaffected by the closure.
“We would like to thank our dedicated staff and volunteers for their hard work. We're also grateful to the people of Bristol who have supported the shop.”
Following the closure, the shop has been listed to let by estate agents Burston Cook for £42,000 per annum.
