Bristol bubble tea cafe joins forces with top make-up brand for bubble tea-flavoured lip oils

Bristol bubble tea business CUPP has joined forces with iconic make-up brand Rimmel London for a limited-edition range of bubble tea-flavoured lip oils.

The new Rimmel London range of Oh My Gloss! fruity lip oils comes in four bubble tea-inspired scents - watermelon oat matcha, coconut oat milk, strawberry fruit tea and pomegranate. The oils offer the glossy finish of a lip gloss with the moisture boost of a lip balm. 

Research of 2,000 make-up obsessed Brits from Rimmel London has revealed Gen Z’s love for lip products with almost half (46%) declaring lips as their favourite part of their makeup routine.

Two fifths (40%) said they carry a lip product with them and over half (51%) own lip oil, of which over a third (38%) carry it with them all day. 

CUPP bubble teas launched in Bristol in 2012, starting out in a converted Citroen H van called Pearl, touring music and food festivals up and down the country before embarking on its residency in Cabot Circus.

OhMyGloss! Lip Oil is available to purchase from Boots, Superdrug and other major retailers in store and online. The lip oils retail for £8.99.  

As part of the launch, the Bristol Cabot Circus CUPP store will offer a complimentary lip oil to the first 100 customers on Monday April 22 who purchase from the Rimmel London x CUPP menu.
