Bristol is no more than a stone’s throw away from Bath but both cities have very different vibes.
Naturally, being so close together, the cities have developed a ‘friendly’ rivalry amongst their residents, sports teams and even both respected universities. Both command a vast history of culture and plenty of entertainment - but is one better than the other?
Of course, the answer will be subject to opinion, and, seeing as we are BristolWorld, we might be a tad biased in our answer. And, this isn’t to say that Bath isn’t a lovely place to live or visit but, nevertheless, we’re happy to put forward our argument as to why Bristol might just pip Bath as the better city to live in.
Below are 10 things we feel Bristol gets the better of Bath on, let us know if you agree
1. Sport

2. Nightlife
With the amount of people from Bath or Bath Uni students you bump into on a night out in Bristol it’s a wonder that there’s anyone walking the streets of the city past 9pm. Bristol has one of the best club scenes in the UK and we’ll take Jason Donvervan over Jimmy’s Kebabs at the end of the evening every time.

3. Turbo Island

4. Shopping
