Bristol arts show cancelled after every member of technical crew catches Covid-19

An entertainment show planned to take place under Bristol Temple Meads has been cancelled after all members of the technical crew caught Covid-19.

Multi-artform show Club Supreme was due to take place at Loco Klub every night from tomorrow (March 23) to March 27.

It was described as a ‘playful piece of theatre’ set to entertain an audience with a mix of live music, physical theatre, story telling and puppetry.

However, organisers Ramshacklicious issued a statement which confirmed it will be rearranged due to crew members catching Covid-19.

It comes amid a spike in cases in Bristol, with the number confirmed up 1,981 over the weekend.

The statement said: “Sad news from Ramshacklicious – the company due to present the premiere of its latest multi-artform show Club Supreme at the Loco Klub, Bristol, from Thursday this week.

“All members of the technical crew have succumbed to Covid-19 making it impossible for performances to go ahead. New dates will be announced as soon as they can be arranged.

“Ticket holders are being informed. Apologies for any inconvenience.
