Update: Emergency services rush to major fire in Bristol

Emergency services have rushed to Triangle West in Clifton as a major fire has broken out.

Police, ambulance and 17 fire engines are in attendance and people are advised to avoid the area.

It is believed the fire is above the Forbidden Planet store on the ground floor of the 12-storey Clifton Heights office block.

Avon Fire & Rescue Service posted an update on social media at 9.15pm to say the fire has now been extinguished and that crews are now working to make the scene at Triangle West safe.

A further update adds that 'all persons have now been accounted for and that the road remains closed.
