Breaking: Body found in Bristol nature reserve

A body has been discovered at a nature reserve in Bristol this afternoon, police have confirmed.

A large number of police vehicles and ambulances attended the scene earlier this afternoon (October 18) after the body of a man was found at the parkland near the Tesco Extra store in Brislington.

In a statement, police said: “This afternoon, a man’s body was found in Callington Road Nature Reserve. The man’s death is not believed to be suspicious at this time.

“His next of kin has been informed and our thoughts are with them at this sad time. Enquiries will continue to be carried out on behalf of the coroner.”
