A woman has appeared in court charged with the murder of father-of-four Bradley Lewis.

Abigail White, of Chipperfield Drive in Kingswood, wore a black sweater when she appeared in the dock at courtroom one at Bristol Crown Court this morning (April 25).

The 23-year-old appeared for a plea and trial preparation hearing after being charged with the murder of Mr Lewis, 22, at a property in Kingswood on Friday, March 25.

Presiding judge The Recorder of Bristol Peter Blair QC set a provisional trial date for October 10. White will remain in custody until that date.

Mr Lewis died in hospital after sustaining a serious injury at the property in Chipperfield Drive. He was described by his devastated family as a ‘wonderful, much-loved son’.

A five-a-side football tournament in Mr Lewis’ memory takes place at Southey Playing Fields in Kingswood on July 16.
