It’s the first Bristol branch of the award-winning Welsh jewellers

Former Blue Peter presenter and proud Welshman Gethin Jones officially opened the first Bristol store of Welsh jewellery brand Clogau.

Jones cut the ribbon for the new store at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway, where the first 50 customers through the door were gifted a £50 voucher. Jones is an ambassador for Clogau.

Clogau (pronounced “Clog-eye”) is a second-generation family business with more than 30 years experience creating hand-finished jewellery.

Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Diana, Princess Catherine and Queen Camilla are among those to wear wedding rings created using Clogau St David’s mine gold.

Ben Roberts, Managing Director of Clogau, said: “Bristol is such an iconic city, with so many great shopping locations, and we can’t wait to introduce Clogau to the local community..”
