Bedminster's Secret Gardens 2024: What it is, list of open gardens and prices

Visitors will be able to visit over 25 private gardens and four community gardens

Bedminster’s Secret Gardens open weekend is set to take place on June 15 and 16 from noon to 5pm.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore over 25 private gardens and four community gardens during the event for a £3 donation per person (free for children).

You can pay the donation on Saturday from the stall by Nat West Bank, North Street from 11am to 3pm and from any participating garden on Sunday. You will receive a sticker that will allow you to visit all the gardens as many times as you like over the two days.

The money raised will be used to support the local community gardening and environmental projects across BS3.

Guides for the event are available from the Riverside Garden Centre, The Southville Centre, Southville Deli on North Street and Windmill Hill City Farm and can be downloaded from https://www.boardwalkpropertyco.com/assets/pdf/Secret-Gardens-Trail-Map.pdf

There will also be guides available on June 15 from 11am to 3pm at the Blooming Bedminster information stall outside Nat West bank on North Street.

1. Ashton Park School Wellbeing Garden, Blackmoors Lane, Bower Ashton, Bristol BS3 2JL. Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcomed and there will be refreshments available.

2. 11 Deep Coombe Road, Bristol, BS3 2PB. The garden will only be open on Saturday and there will be refreshments available.

3. 37 Irby Road, Bristol, BS3 2LZ. The garden will only be open on Sunday and well behaved dogs on a leash are welcomed.

22. Parson Street Station, Bristol, BS3 3NF. Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcomed. Volunteer gardeners will be there on Sunday from 9.30am to 10.30am.

25. Dame Emily Community Garden, Bristol, BS3 1BS. Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcomed. Visitors can meet the volunteer gardeners on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm. There will be kids’ nature activities, refreshments, cakes and plants for sale.
