The BBC says it is a “partial sale” and that it intends to continue broadcasting from the site.

Roxine Foster, director at LSH, said: "This is one of the largest opportunities to hit the market in Clifton for several years and is likely to attract widespread interest.

A BBC spokesperson told BristolWorld: “We are proud of the BBC’s long history in Bristol and plan to continue to broadcast from the Whiteladies Road site.
“The partial sale of the site is part of an ongoing review of the BBC’s property portfolio in order to provide the best value for licence fee payers.”
The site has been occupied by the BBC since 1934, when it was first opened by the Lord Mayor of Bristol.
Since then, it has been used as a production and broadcasting centre and has been the home to numerous shows, including Points West, DIY SOS and Springwatch.
