The tasting menu at Six by Nico will change every six weeks

A chef whose chain of restaurants serve a new themed six-course tasting menu every six weeks is opening his first Bristol venue.

Glasgow-born Nico Simeon started his career at Michelin-starred restaurants and won Young Scottish Seafood Chef of The Year.

His Six by Nico restaurant has now grown into ten sites in the UK and Ireland including London and Cardiff.

The unique concept means diners can try different cuisines and styles with each tasting menu. Recent menus have been based on food from New York, Tokyo and Mexico.

Diners can check in advance what sort of dishes they’ll be eating by looking at menus online before booking tables.

Six By Nico (Holdings) Limited has applied for a premises licence to open a restaurant and bar in the Quaker’s Friars area of Cabot Circus.

It is believed the proposed Six by Nico in Bristol will be in the former Carcluccio’s restaurant which closed in 2018.
