A luxury hot chocolate shop is set to open its doors in Bristol for the first time. 

Award-winning Knoops, which has 17 stores across the country including Bath, will soon open its first Bristol venue in the former Body Shop unit opposite the museum on Queens Road.

The Knoops brand founded in Rye, East Sussex, in 2013 when German chocolate fan Jens Knoop decided to share his passion with the world. 

Besides the growing number of shops around the UK, Knoops products, such as marshmallows and chocolate flakes, are also available in premium stores like Harrods and Selfridges.

A spokesperson for Knoops told Bristol World: “We are excited to be increasing our expansion with our first Bristol store.

“Whether you live, study or work in Bristol – or are just visiting – we’ll welcome you with an expertly crafted chocolate drink, coffee or baked goods.”

The opening is set for July 2024.
