British astronaut Tim Peake is set to bring his 'first-of-its kind' show to Bristol.

‘Astronauts: The Quest to Explore Space' at the Bristol Beacon on September 3 will see Peake bring to life the endeavours of astronauts, with his storytelling accompanied by archive material and footage.

Peake shot to fame in 2015 when he became the first British astronaut to visit the International Space Station and conduct a spacewalk.

The astronaut's new show is the successor to his debut show, ‘My Journey to Space', which had multiple sell-out tours.

The pre-publicity for Astronauts says nobody is more qualified than Peake to 'celebrate the incredible achievements and historic human endeavour of space exploration'.

It says: "From our first forays through to the vast potential of the future, Tim will recount stories from his own journey to space and bring to life many iconic and ground-breaking missions from the past.

"He’ll reveal what spaceflight is really like: from the wondrous view of Earth, living in weightlessness, the unique dangers and unexpected moments of humour, to the years of training and gruelling psychological and physical pressures an astronaut must endure."

'Astronauts - The Quest to Explore Space' with Tim Peake is on at the Bristol Beacon on September 3, from 7.30pm. To book tickets, visit:
