Bristol's Ashton Gate Stadium has fuelled speculation after teasing an announcement on social media.

The football stadium has put out two posts on X today (January 3) ahead of making the announcement on Friday (January 5).

Both posts mention an account called @BS3LiveUK and the hashtag #BS3Live. The second of the teasers includes a video of a crowd cheering and the question 'Are you ready Bristol?', accompanied by the musical notes emoji.

This has fuelled speculation that a third stadium concert could be held at Ashton Gate in the summer, in addition to the two already announced Take That gigs.

The stadium can hold a maximum of five summer concerts each year, with the Arctic Monkeys being the only act able to perform last year due to the pitch having to be completely replaced ahead of the new football season.

The stadium has a capacity of around 30,000, with acts such as Bruce Springsteen, Liam Gallagher and Smashing Pumpkins given as potential acts who could perform.
