A popular Bristol pub has just reopened after a stunning six-figure refurbishment

Located on Wellington Road in Yate, The Farmhouse closed last month to undergo renovations and major refurbishments to the pub’s interior and exterior.

The interior has been completely refreshed, with a new décor and a bright new colour scheme throughout.

New additions include new booth seating, contemporary light and art fixtures, plus a brand-new bar with a built in barrel to showcase its cask ales. Brand-new restrooms have also been installed.

The Farmhouse will also provide the ultimate experience for sports fans, offering pub favourites darts and pool in the dedicated sports area.

Enhancing the experience further, a 75” TV has been installed in the beer garden showing TNT and Sky Sports, meaning sports fans won’t miss any of the action.

The garden has been fully landscaped, and the addition of festoon lighting and blankets will help customers enjoy the cosy atmosphere even in the colder months.

The pub is also dog-friendly, meaning guests are more than welcome to bring along their four-legged friends with them - canines get their own treats and blankets, too.

As the refurbishment has expanded covers to 333, inside and out, the Farmhouse is more spacious than ever, whilst also creating new jobs in the community.

The new menu will boast an array of sharing platters as well as vegetarian, vegan and non-gluten options. A kids’ menu is also available for those with little ones.

Behind the bar will be Madri, Birra Moretti and Thatchers Haze, as well as Greene King’s very own Level Head, Flint Eye and more.

Amy Blake, General Manager of The Farmhouse said: “We have been working hard behind the scenes to make improvements, which have completely transformed the pub, and we cannot wait to open our doors once again.

“We’re confident that our contemporary redecoration, enhanced sports offering, and new food and drink menu are all sure to be a big hit with the people of Yate, offering locals an even better drinking and dining experience than ever before!”

Alongside seasonal events for Halloween and Christmas, The Farmhouse will host a regular programme of events, including weekly quizzes, poker, seniors meet ups and regular live music, such as the return of the pub’s popular Thirsty Thursday DJ nights.

The pub also plans to host monthly fundraising events for Macmillan and will be supporting local sports teams.
