Dozens of Wilko stores are closing all over the country this week due to the administration of the high street chain.

According to the administrators, all of Wilko’s 400 shops will close by early October and the remaining stores are selling off all stock.

We visited the Clifton store on Queens Road to find most of the stock already sold in the heavily discounted sales of recent weeks.

Most shelves are bare and stripped of products, leaving an eerie ghost town feel to the two-floor store.
