Amazon’s Avonmouth warehouse near Bristol is one of 13 sites where Extinction Rebellion are holding protests

Protesters from Extinction Rebellion have blockaded two main entrances of Amazon’s warehouse in Avonmouth.

A number of individuals have locked themselves onto various structures of the fulfilment centre.

The group aims to use these protests to disrupt Amazon’s Black Friday business practices to help influence change to working conditions and the company’s climate-destructive output.

Protesters can be seen carrying banners with messages such as ‘AmazonCrime’ plastered all over.

Reports suggest that the countrywide protests could last as long as two days in total.
