Bristol has a national reputation as one of the best cities for coffee thanks to a growing number of artisan coffee shops and micro-roasteries.
These are places that take coffee seriously, often using different methods to extract as much flavour from specialty coffee beans as possible.
A world away from the mass-produced coffee served in high street chains, you may spend a little more on coffee in these places but it’s money well spent.
Many of these places also sell freshly roasted coffee beans which you can take home - ask nicely, and they’ll even grind the beans for you.
Here are ten of the best places in Bristol to enjoy expertly made coffee. Let us know if you have found others we need to try out.
