It’s no secret that Bristolians love a good party - and what party is bigger, better and more iconic than Glastonbury? The festival, arguably the UK’s biggest and best, is one of the most coveted events in the calendar not just in the city but across the nation.
Glastonbury is set return to Worthy Farm, Somerset in Summer 2023, running from Wednesday, June 21 until Sunday, June 25. As ever, it will feature some of the UK’s most legendary acts - although many of these are yet to be confirmed.

Sadly, it’s infamously difficult to get hold of tickets for Glastonbury, which sold out in minutes in 2022 and have been compared to the likes of gold dust by fans. Here’s the latest on Glastonbury 2023 including rumoured headliners, “self-confirmed” acts and when festival-goers will have another chance to bag tickets.
Rumoured headliners
According to Glasto Fest Feed, Arctic Monkeys and Guns N’ Roses are the two main contenders to join the already confirmed Elton John as the Friday and Saturday Pyramid Stage headliners at Glastonbury 2023. Other bands that have ignited hopes in fans for a potential performance are Florence & the Machine, Pulp, the 1975 and Kraftwerk due to gaps in their schedules at the time of the festival.
Red Hot Chilli Peppers also got fans pondering after band member Flea retweeted a sketch of the festival’s Pyramid Stage. However, it’s worth taking rumours with a pinch of salt, as organiser Emily Eavis revealed that all three headliners for Glastonbury 2023 have already been booked.

Blondie ‘let slip’ the band are performing at Glastonbury 2023
Blondie drummer Clem Burke recently ‘self confirmed’ that the band are going to be playing at Glastonbury 2023. Kelly Jones of Stereophonics also revealed that he will be performing at the festival with his new project Far From Saints.
Other artists to let the cat out of the bag include Gabrielle Aplin, who said she will be playing the Avalon Stage. Becky Hill has also hinted at a possible performance.
How to get tickets
Standard tickets for Glastonbury 2023 sold out within minutes last year. If you weren’t successful in securing tickets during the last round of sales in November, you will have another chance to book during the Spring Resale, which usually takes place around April.
The resale sees any returned tickets go back on sale. For tips on maximising your chances of getting tickets, visit Glasto Fest Feed.
