Tiffany's: I had lunch at an elegant restaurant with gorgeous panoramic views of the bay for just £15

Located on the farthest point out to sea on Weston-super-Mare's Grand Pier, Tiffany's has some of the most breath-taking panoramic views I've seen at a restaurant.
The charming, Edwardian-style restaurant boasts stunning views overlooking the bay.

When I saw it was open during my latest visit to The Grand Pier, curiosity got the better side of me and I decided to treat myself to some lunch.
Soon after I stepped inside the beautiful venue, I was given a seat next to one of the numerous large windows that adorned all the walls of the pastel-toned restaurant.
Short chandeliers hang from the pastel green room while light brown and white curtains decorated the edges of the expansive windows.
Wooden tables and brown chairs with golden details were spaciously spread across the floor plan.

Not many tables were taken when I first arrived but the restaurant soon became quite busy as I waited to order. It seemed particularly popular with retirees and families with young children.
I had to wait around 20 minutes to order, which gave me more than enough time to browse the menu, which included Loaded Jacket Potatoes (£10), Toasties and Sandwiches (£9), Wraps (£13) and mains like Fish & Chips (£15), Butternut and Cheese Pie (£14) and Sweet Potato & Chickpea Curry.
I opted for the Crispy Chicken Caesar (Chicken Goujon, Romaine Lettuce, Cheese, Caesar Sauce and Tomato) Wrap (£13) and a lemonade (£1.80).
Tiffany's also offers a range of Afternoon Teas (£20pp) featuring an impressive selection of scones served with Cornish clotted cream and Jam, sandwiches, traditional cakes and the choice of tea or coffee. As I saw the beautiful display being set at a nearby table I made a mental note to try it next time I was in the area.

As I waited a half hour for my lunch, the restaurant was not too noisy despite being almost full, so I took the opportunity to read my book.
When the meal arrived, the chips were served in a small white ceramic bucket and the coleslaw in a white sauce dip container next to the delicious-looking wrap.
The chunky chips were soft and fluffy and very hot but lacked seasoning. Luckily, there were sauces, salt and pepper on the table to improve the flavour.
The coleslaw was creamy and refreshing with crunchy onions, cucumber and carrots.

The wrap was warm and slightly toasty.

As a whole, the meal was sufficient, not overly filling but just enough.
Overall, it was a very relaxing meal with beautiful views and the staff was very friendly.
Unfortunately, it's not the best option if you are tight on time due to the long waiting times, but I feel I will be returning in the future to indulge in one of the impressive-looking afternoon teas.
