A long-running takeaway in Bristol has reopened under new owners.

Al Waha, which closed under its original ownernship after 33 years last August, is now back in operation.

In a Facebook post, the takeaway on Wells Road in Totterdown wrote: “Thank you all so much for your understanding in waiting for us to re-open.

“We are looking forward to seeing everyone.”

The takeaway is understood to be offering the same recipes, products and services, with the old owners helping the new owners out over the next couple of weeks.

Al Waha was founded in 1991 by Khalid, known for his “unique recipes and excellent food”.
