Five Bristol takeaways open on Christmas Day: where to order food through Uber Eats - from Zizzi to Dhamaka

Not sure what you’re having on Christmas Day? These five restaurants will have you sorted.

Not having a traditional Christmas Day dinner? Or perhaps you want something later on in the day, after your Christmas Dinner has gone down.

Whatever meal plans you have for Saturday, December 25, Uber Eats is delivering food from at least five restaurants in the Bristol area.

1) Dhamaka

Dhamaka is a restaurant that specialises in Indian food.

From 68 ratings, Dhamaka can boast a good 4.5 star rating, and this is said on the Uber Eats website about Dhamaka: “This spot is one of the 10 most ordered from Old City delivery spots. Experience one of the most popular menu items among Uber Eats users at this evening go-to: the Pulao Rice. If you’re looking to order a couple of things, you may consider this popular combination: the Garlic Naan and the Pulao Rice”

As well as the rice, and the Garlic Naan, you can also order popular menu items such as Saag Aloo, Tadka Dai, Paneer Makhani and Butter Chicken from Delhi.

2) Bento Boss

Bento Boss is a Sushi restaurant, and from 82 ratings, it has a fantastic 4.8 star rating.

The most popular items on the menu include the Salmon Bento, Nigiri Set (12 PCS), Chicken Katsu Curry Bento, Curry Laska and Salmon Teriyaki Bento.

3) Lucky Chef

A more familiar name to round off with, as Zizzi is a massive chain with multiple restaurants dotted all over the UK.

It’s unlikely you’ve not heard of it, or even been to Zizzi’s but if some chance you’re not familiar with them, they specialise in Italian food.

Uber Eats says this: “This spot is among Uber Eats users’ 10 favourite St James delivery spots. Experience one of the most popular menu items among Uber Eats users at this evening go-to: the Spaghetti Chorizo Carbonara Pasta. If you’re looking to order a couple of things, you may consider this popular combination: the Bruschetta and the Spaghetti Chorizo Carbonara.”

You can order Pastas and Pizzas that come with a variety of different toppings.

To create an Uber Eats account, simply download the app on IOS or Android, and enter your email address, postcode, enter a password and your card details.

If you do not have a mobile, go on the internet and type in “Uber Eats” and you can create an account that way too.

If you already have an existing account with Uber, for means of transport, your login for Uber Eats will be the same, as you already have an account affiliated with Uber.

Be mindful too, as you may be charged more for delivery, the further away from the restaurant you are, or, they may not deliver to you at all.
