First look inside much-loved Bristol Chinese restaurant Mayflower as it reopens in new location

Mayflower has opened its new site in Broadmead after its former site in the Haymarket closed back in June last year after 20 years due to the redevelopment of the area.

In a Facebook post sharing photos of the new restaurant, Mayflower wrote: “Our first week back has been absolutely incredible.

“Seeing so many familiar faces return and welcoming new guests into our new space has been truly heartwarming.

“The energy, the excitement, and the love you’ve shown us—it’s been beyond amazing!”

The restaurant added: “A huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you who came by, dined with us, shared your kind words, and supported us in this journey.
