Co-op: First look at the new purpose-built store in Bristol's Ashley Down

Ashley Down’s Co-op has moved into the new, purpose built store from today (June 28).

The new store in Gloucester Road expands across nearly 7,000 square feet and has a parcel collection service through DPD, Costa Coffee Express machine as well as an in-store bakery and hot food for sale.

The new store also has a customer car parking as well as a sheltered bike rack.

Marlon Ritchie, Co-op Store Manager, said: “The whole team is delighted to launch our new store. It looks fantastic, and we are looking forward to welcoming our members and customers into their purpose-built, brand-new Co-op. Our aim is to operate at the heart of local life and we have worked to develop the range, choice and added services to create a compelling offer to serve our community conveniently.

"The store also has a focus on delivering value, with member price savings across a wide range of everyday essentials, fruit and veg and groceries so that the people who own our business, our member-owners, benefit every time they shop.”
