CUPP X Moomin: I visited the most adorable café in Bristol - it's unlike anything I've seen

Explore CUPP's unique Moomin-themed bubble tea cafe in Bristol, featuring exclusive merchandise and delightful menu offerings.

CUPP's bubble tea store has received a very unique transformation: it's the UK’s first Moomin-themed bubble tea extravaganza.

Customers are greeted by the adorable Moomin cast crossing a bridge on the store's window, before stepping into the colourful world of Mooninvalley as they enter the store.

Under the shelves, The Groke stares at a lamp, whilst Moomintroll hands frames photos and quotes on the wall.

The counter where orders can be picked from has been transformed into the adorable Moominhouse surrounded by trees and fluffy clouds floating above.

The ordering screen's interface has also been customised with Moomin illustrations and options to order by character-themed products.

I opted for some Moominmama Maple Pancakes (£7) and a Snorkmaiden Cherry Blossom Milk Tea (Sakura, green tea blended with milk) with oat milk, whipped cream and chocolate chips, coconut jelly and strawberry popping pearls (£8.20), and took a seat on the bar table next to the window.

Relaxing music played through the speakers I took in the beautiful interior of the shop.

The order was ready within five minutes, with the pancakes topped with an adorable Moominmama wafer and the bubble tea with a cute red roof with Moomintroll looking out the window.

The pancake stack, topped with maple syrup and powdered sugar, was fluffy, sweet and filling.

As for the drink, the chocolate chips came across as a texture shock at first, but the overall flavours blended very well and reminded me of strawberries and cream with some floral tones.

Overall, it was a very good experience, the food and drinks were delicious and surprisingly filling, the decor of the store was unique and the staff were friendly and would go out of their way to help you have a good experience.
