A Caribbean beach-inspired pop-up is coming to Bristol later this week - offering free ice-cold beer and jerk BBQ dishes.

Turtle Bay is taking over Anchor Square for the experience on Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17, from midday to 6pm on both days.

The square will transform into a beach-inspired paradise with deckchairs and parasols, comprising three beach huts:  

  • A Red Stripe bar, offering complimentary beer on tap to guests
  • The Jerk Hut, serving up samples of jerk pit Wings (both jerk or BBQ), jerk sausage and vegan alternative  
  • The Reggae & Dancehall Hut - hosted by Turtle Bay’s resident DJ for both days plus special guest entertainment on the day

Guests will have complimentary access to the beach bar for a free ice-cold beer, plus they get to sample several new jerk BBQ dishes from Turtle Bay’s latest menu.

At Turtle Bay Bristol Broad Quay and Cheltenham Road, guests can enjoy a taste of the Caribbean through a reinvented jerk menu, new dishes incorporating seasonal ingredients, and a cocktail and mocktail menu. 

Turtle Bay’s Bristol pop-up is a non-ticketed, free event, open on August 16 and 18 between midday to 6pm at Anchor Square, Bristol, BS1 5UH.
