A restaurant which we described as a ‘Turkish fine dining experience right in the middle of Bristol’ is a finalist for the British Kebab Awards 2025.

Cappadocia has been shortlisted in the best newcomer restaurant category, alongside 11 other establishments.

It comes after BristolWorld first reported that the restaurant, whose sister site in Bath has been shortlisted for the same category, was coming to Bristol.

The two-storey restaurant on Baldwin Street in the city centre serves authentic Turkish food - from kebabs to casseroles.

Ahead of opening in April last year, owner Mehmet Tunc told us he wanted to "provide proper food” - different from the typical kebab shop offering in the city.
