In the same post, the pub also shared details about its history and photos from over the years.

The post said: “Did you know that 60 years ago, the Mall was a Carwardine's Tea Room?

“It was a family business, importing their own tea, and roasting their own coffee beans.

“In the twentieth century they grew their business from central Bristol to suburbs like Clifton.

“It then became a pub, and changed many times through the years.

“Many of our regulars tell us the lovely memories they had in our lovely pub, coming as a teenager to celebrate graduations, to coming back with their own children to create more memories.”

On Google, the Mall is described as a “gastropub with plush seating in a snug lounge under stained-glass, plus a 3-tiered secret garden”.
