Bristol has a great selection of restaurants, but so many have been lost over the years.

On our Facebook page, we asked our readers which former restaurants they miss the most.

They replied with plenty of places from the past that they would love to bring back if you could.

Here are the 14 of the responses we had, in no particular order:

The restaurant on York Road in Montpelier closed after 40 years in 2019 and is now Bianchis. | Google

The site in Clifton Village was Keith Floyd's first bistro from 1969 to 1972. | Google

The Italian restaurant on Union Street in Broadmead closed after 42 years in June 2023 - before making a comeback as a pizza truck. | Google
