We ate at a Bristol Harvester pub and there was one thing customers went crazy for

But there was one thing people went absolutely crazy about during my visit to The Crown Inn in Longwell Green - the famous unlimited salad bar.
After taking a seat at the pub, it wasn’t long until a salad bowl was placed in front of me, and I couldn’t wait to indulge.

With lettuce, coleslaw, pasta, and more, I topped it all off with bacon-flavoured bits and crispy onions, then grabbed a bread roll before returning to my seat.
Not long after enjoying my fresh and flavoursome salad, my main course was served.

It also came with sage & onion seasoned chips, delicious when dipped in the specialty chicken gravy. The gravy also helped with the slightly dry chicken.
The main meal also included Harvester’s new hot honey drizzled cornbread, a sweet treat with a unique texture that was new to me.
The main course arrived so quickly that I had to enjoy my salad bowl alongside it, which I didn’t mind at all.

Although there are only three Harvesters in the Bristol area, the unlimited salad and hearty mains make it a trip well worth taking. I found myself fully satisfied with the salad and main course alone, leaving no room for dessert, tempting as it may have been.
