The fishmonger and deli also appears to have been closed since the summer, according to the last post on Fishers’ social media.

The post said: “We also wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for all your support and custom over the years - whether you've dined with us at our restaurant, popped by our fish counter and deli, enjoyed our Fish & Chip takeaway, or if we've catered for one of your parties at home: thank you.

“We really appreciate it and look forward to welcoming you to a new version of Fishers Clifton Fishmonger & Deli in due course.”
