The weather in Bristol is looking good this weekend; not too cold to stay indoors but not that blazing heat we had earlier in the month that left us staying indoors also.

In fact the Met Office has  said that this weekend in Bristol, it’s actually going to be pleasant and with it being a long weekend it’s an opportunity to lounge around various venues in the city.

But if a Sunday roast is a little too much this weekend, why not indulge instead in tapas? A group of friends, ordering lots of small plates to share. and trying a selection of different dishes all at once - a perfect social culinary experience.

The Spanish verb for “to cover”, tapas historically it started out as small slices of meat or bread served in bars to cover their drinks to keep flies out.

Bristolworld has brought together the top five places in Bristol for tapas, according to Tripadvisor, so we can assure you there will be no need for drinks to be covered by cured meat.
