These scenes, which all show the Prince’s Theatre, come from the Vaughan collection of postcards.
This collection consists of over 9,000 photographic and illustrative postcards and we are indebted to the Bristol Archives, which is part of Bristol Museums, for sharing them with us.
Have a look at images which show the grand bar, proscenium, stage, seating and some fantastic views of the pantomimes - all more than 100 years ago.
