Condé Nast has pulled together a list of the UK’s 49 best beaches - and a whopping 12 of them are within a three hours’ drive of Bristol. While beachscapes aren’t always the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the UK, it turns out the city is ideally placed for access to some of the world’s most gorgeous beaches in Devon, Dorset and Wales.
With the cost of living crisis squeezing budgets, many may be looking for a holiday closer to home this year. Luckily, some of the beaches selected by the popular travel magazine have been compared to the Mediterranean and even the Caribbean, especially during the height of summer.
