A pub has put up Britain's first Christmas tree of the year - on a hot weekend in August.
The fully decorated floor-to-ceiling fir complete with baubles and lights was spotted at the Air Balloon in Filton, Bristol.

Hide AdThe tree is accompanied by a board advertising the pub's Christmas menu ahead of the festive season.
Always in a festive mood the pub puts its tree up early every year.
One drinker, Laura, said: ''I came up for a pint in the sun - I wasn't expecting to see a Christmas tree.''
